 Here is a brief introduction to how to correctly install stainless steel elbow:

Stainless steel elbow ball valve, globe valve, gate valve when used, only fully open or fully closed, not allowed to adjust the flow, so as to avoid erosion sealing surface, accelerate wear.  There is an inverted sealing device in the gate valve and the upper thread globe valve, and the handwheel is tightened to the upper position to prevent the media from leaking from the packing.  

Stainless steel elbow with hand wheel, do not use levers or other tools, so as not to damage the valve.  If the handwheel rotates clockwise, it is closed, otherwise, it is open.
